The property marketing company Pelican Media is preparing to launch what it claims is the industry’s first voice control software across its range of marketing and sales apps.
Negotiators or new-build homes marketeers using the apps will be able to speak to the devices, issuing instructions and making requests to satisfy buyers’ requests - for example to bring up floorplans, CGIs or comparisons between properties.
The firm says the voice control software will work across all available devices and allows the requested information to appear on multiple screens.
“We’ve had virtual assistants on our smartphones for some time and now with products like Amazon Echo, voice-activated technology is entering our homes” says Tony Nicol, managing director of the company.
The voice control upgrade will be applied from the spring across the firm's BASE, PRO and ELITE apps.
