Zoopla Property Group has this morning told the City that it has seen another increase in agent numbers and listings in its ongoing rivalry with OnTheMarket.
A statement from the group, released early this morning, says: “The Property Services division continues to trade in line with expectations and management is pleased to report continued growth in the total number of property partners, with UK Agency partner numbers having grown for 16 consecutive months to 13,275 as at August 31 2016 (up five per cent year-on-year) and property listings increasing to 925,000 as at August 31 2016 (up five per cent year-on-year).
The statement goes on to say that it expects the full 2016 figures to be “at the top end of current market expectations” and that more information is likely to be released at the group’s first ‘Capital Markets Day’ in a week’s time.
