OnTheMarket says Andrew Milsom Estate Agents, a six branch agency in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, has joined the portal.

The website says the agency will list its properties for sale and to rent on OTM and Rightmove, after removing them from Zoopla.

In a statement this morning from OTM, agency director Andrew Milsom describes the challenger portal as “a refreshing change for the consumer” while Helen Whiteley, commercial director of OnTheMarket, says the agency “strengthens our market position in the Thames Valley and Chiltern Hills area.”

Earlier this year OTM announced Nottingham Estate Agency and Harrison Murray’s 37-branch network was going to list, as well as the eight branch firm Arnolds Keys, plus Jeffries, a seven branch firm in South East Hampshire and Goadsby, a 25-branch firm with offices across south England.

Earlier this week the portal announced that it now had more than 6,400 estate and letting agency offices listing on its site - a total reached after 12 successive months of growth.

The figure represents an increase of almost 1,000 offices year on year, the portal says. This is an increase of 17 per cent.

Brave agents looking at AM/OTMs cartel like restraints on other portal and agent platform embargo's.

Additionally whats the update on the OTM court cases re Connells and the anti OTM agents group?

    Not brave, intelligent.

They know that there are no "Cartel like restraints" doing the research.

Only people with vested interests against OTM say there is.

I dont understand how OTM is a 'refreshing change for consumers'. It isnt as well designed, as nice to navigate nor does it have half of the leading functionality features and data as ZPG/RM. If there's something I'm missing then please explain but the only 'good' thing about OTM is reduced marketing costs for agents- I dont see how that benefits the consumer at all.
If anyone can explain to me what features, etc are better on OTM I am all ears....
