Peter Alan, part of the Connells Group, has acquired Marina Quay, a specialist Swansea Marina estate agency as part of its plans to grow its regional network and boost market share.
Marina Quay is an estate and lettings agency business, founded more than 14 years ago, which focuses on the rental and sales market at Swansea Marina. It will trade under the Peter Alan name and its existing staff will be retained; on the lettings side, some 160 properties will be transferred to Peter Alan.
The John Coombes estate agency in Dinas Powys was recently acquired by Peter Alan which, with the Swansea independent, now boasts 27 branches across South Wales.
