An independent agency in East Sussex is celebrating after being crowned the best environmental business of the year in its area - thanks to a bevvy of eco-measures.
Newberry Tully, an agency based in Seaford, uses solar energy to power its office, operates an electric car called Sparky, has fitted low-energy LED lights in the branch and has a policy of maximum recycling.
Company partners, Andrew Tully and Stephen Newberry, explained why being green is so important to them.
“We’re always looking at ways in which we can make our business more environmentally friendly. Both Andrew [Tully] and I are fascinated by how new technology can improve the way things are done and reduce the impact we have on the environment” explains company partner Stephen Newberry.
The judging panel included local MPs and councillors.

Well done. Unfortunately, the politicians involved obviously do not have anything more important to do than judge on this.
