One week to go - your guide to The ESTAS 2016

The organisers of The ESTAS 2016 have issued a guide to the event, which takes place in a week’s time in the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane - an appropriately glamorous location for what has become the Oscars of the agency world.

Angels Media, the publisher of Estate Agent Today and Letting Agent Today, is the official media partner of the event, which this year will see 1,000 agents lauded after feedback from around 30,000 customers who contributed to selecting many of the winners.

Organiser and founder Simon Brown says: The ESTAS are the biggest awards event for the estate and letting agent industry in the UK. They’re unique because the winning agents are selected purely on service ratings provided this year by a record 30,000 clients

Brown says anyone attending can leave their bow ties and ballgowns at home. Smart suits and cocktail dresses are the order of the day next Friday - although he points out that the ballroom at the Grosvenor House is one of the most spectacular in Europe, originally designed as an ice rink for British Royalty, so just about good enough for the cream of British agency.

If those attending want a little stardust, they can remember that the same ballroom is the venue for the annual BAFTA Awards dinner.

There are still a few tables left and anyone who works in the property industry can attend - tickets can be ordered at www.theestas.com - but be quick.

As ever, TV property celebrity Phil Spencer will make the presentations.

In addition to Angels Media, The ESTAS 2016 are supported by Absolutely Magazines; Agency Express; Agents Giving; Deposit Protection Scheme; easymatch; Eurolink, Expert Agent; Guild of Lettings Management; Hometrack; Mortgage Brain; Propspace; SearchFlow; Tenant Shop; Today’s Conveyancer; ValPal; and Zoopla Property Group.
