Strutt & Parker is to open a new agency office in South Kensington on June 1, despite ongoing uncertainty over the prime central London residential market.
The agency says the new office is cutting edge in design and located almost opposite the saleroom of Christie’s auction house - Strutt & Parker is Christie’s International Real Estate’s exclusive affiliate in the UK.
The new Strutts office will handle sales and lettings and will be headed up by James Boulton-Lea, who moves from Strutt & Parker’s nearby Chelsea SW10 office.
“We felt that given the high turnover of transactions in this historically transient but now increasingly vibrant area, we needed to provide an office in SW7. We look forward to growing our market share” says Charlie Willis, who was appointed as Strutts’ head of London residential a year ago to spearhead growth in the capital.
Last year Strutt & Parker added five offices to its network with the acquisition of Roberts Newby in Buckinghamshire and Edwards & Elliot in Surrey and Berkshire.
