Humberts says it is throwing its weight behind a fledgling organisation set up to bring estate agencies and new-build developers together in a bid to drive new business.
The Land and New Homes Network aims to bring together house builders and what it calls non-competing estate agents.
“The network’s national coverage means we have strong relationships with builders, developers, investors and estate agents from across the UK. This is good for anyone selling land or new homes with us, as it increases the amount of potential buyers enormously” says Adam Phelps, head of land and new homes at Humberts and a founding member of the LNHN.
The network’s website says it will operate as a platform to connect agents with local and national house builders, and work together to create and market valuable developments.
It offers its members an online information hub including training videos, tailor-made marketing content and document templates which can be customised by adding individual agencies’ branding.
The service also collates three years of planning application data from each area, and intends to organise seminars, online webinars, networking events with builders and an annual conference to be called New Homes Live.
