TODAY'S OTHER NEWS

A flurry of agents' Christmas windows - let it snow, let it snow...

Thanks so much for your enthusiastic response to our request for pictures of your fabulous office windows and decorations - they’re coming in as fast as Christmas is creeping up!

If you can join in the fun, please send your images to press@estateagenttoday.co.uk.

Let’s start the week in London, and those of you familiar with Mount Street in Mayfair will know it has a festive Dickensian look at Christmas. This is thanks to the hard work by shops and businesses there - with the famous Wetherell estate agency at the forefront.

Run by Peter Wetherell - appropriately named @MayfairGuru on Twitter - the company always makes a real event of decorating its office, even with branded baubles. Our thanks to brand manager Jayne Weldon for sending them in.

Now let’s go to Northwood’s office at Chelmsford in Essex. “We set up a competition with a local school and are revealing them in an advent calendar style display across the month” explains sales manager Ben Spray.

Thanks for sharing Ben - do send more in over the next few weeks.

Still in Essex, the Haybrook agency in Colchester - part of Spicerhaart - has got a fantastically colourful looking selection of Advent Calendar homes on its windows.

They look great fun. We don’t know if they contain anything but many thanks to branch partner Nick Walsham for getting in touch.

Finally we swing over to Middlesex where the Pinner branch of the Gibbs Gillespie agency is monstering Christmas - literally.

It’s big and it’s blue, and it’s clearly guarding the gifts. Thanks to Jo Ryan in Paul Gillespie’s office for risking life and limb and getting a snap of the beast.

    Wetherell, super effort, very classy!

Agreed. That one really stands out.

The Aladdin one is just as impressive, mind.

The Wetherell one is so Mayfair - but you can't deny it looks very classy and elegant. A bit too Instagrammed (see, I'm down with the kids!), but very pleasing on the eye nonetheless.

Have to say I prefer the more homely vibe provided by Haybrook, though.
