The winner is... Review website reveals 50 top performing agencies

Agency review website RaterAgent has listed its top 50 agents for 2016 based on customer reviews posted in the year to November 1.

Gold goes to London company LiFE Residential; silver goes to Hampshire’s Charters; bronze goes to north London agency Martyn Gerrard, run by the former NAEA president Simon Gerrard.

The three individual winners are: Gold to Anastasia Efremenkova of LiFE Residential; silver to Nony Kerr-Smiley of Charters; and bronze to Hannah Gunn

of south of England agency Move Revolution.

RaterAgent has 10,851 agents signed up to its review service, and customer comments go through what the website describes as a ‘triple lock transparency check’ which includes an algorithm to try to weed out ‘fakery factors.’ Reviews are then further checked by a team of ‘real life’ moderators who check each review author against electoral roll information, social media and other sources.

After each transaction with a raterAgent-registered sales or letting agent, customers are asked to give an overall rating having scored the branc33h on five criteria - Valuation achieved, Speed of transaction, Value for money, Local knowledge and 

Quality of staff.
