And on the south coast, Meyers hybrid agency - established by Mark and Claire Meyer in 2011 - is expanding from its existing patch of Dorchester, Weymouth and Poundbury, and now has additional staff to cover Poole, Wareham and the Purbeck towns and villages.

The 15-strong team describe themselves as ‘property marketing experts’, and pride themselves in contributing funds to local community projects to cement their presence in local areas.

Meanwhile in the lettings sector, ACJ Properties has acquired a rental property portfolio from the recently closed Meadowvale agency in Penarth, South Wales.

“We’re delighted to have acquired this portfolio which fits with our strategy for growth in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff. Customers of Meadowvale can be assured that we are a licensed letting agent with Rent Smart Wales and we look forward to providing a great service” says Sarah Plumley, head of lettings at ACJ.
