Property sales and lettings agency William H Brown, part of the Sequence UK network, has acquired Porter Glenny estate agents in Essex.
The purchase will expand William H Brown’s sales and lettings network to South Essex and the London Boroughs of Havering and Barking & Dagenham.
Established in 1995, Porter Glenny has branches at Gidea Park, Barking, Rainham and Grays, and offers sales, lettings and property management, land and new homes.
The branches will trade under the name William H Brown incorporating Porter Glenny and all staff will be retained; the directors will stay on in a consultancy basis for William H Brown.
“The addition of the four Porter Glenny branches into our network complements our recently opened Maldon and Brentwood offices, plus our new Harlow office coming soon” says Ian Fry, Regional Managing Director at William H Brown.
The purchase forms part of a wider initiative Sequence UK to expand; William H Brown now says it wants other local agency businesses “to get in touch and discuss possibilities for acquisition.”
