HMRC is staging its next anti-money laundering webinar for estate agents next Wednesday.
Entitled ‘Customer Due Diligence for Estate Agency Businesses’ it will cover what due diligence is, why and when agents have to do it, the documentation and customer information that has to be kept by agencies, and how to assess money laundering risks to individual agencies.
There is also a question-and-answer session in the webinar, which is scheduled to run from 2pm until 3.30pm.
As its name implies, this webinar is targeting estate agents; separate webinars are being run for finance and credit companies, legal professionals, accountants and tax advisers, trust and company service providers, and casino operators.
