Aberlour: Aberdeen’ The Law Practice solicitor Margaret Waldron and husband David Gill have undergone three months of training to enter the fifth Strictly Come Prancing - raising money for Aberlour, which raises money for vulnerable children.

“Those who know me well will know that, at times, I believe I really was born for the stage!  The opportunity to join this year’s Strictly Come Prancing line up was too good to refuse. The event falls a year after David and I married so what better way to celebrate our first anniversary than fun, dancing and a fabulous cause to support?” asks Margaret.

Aberlour supports young people through challenges such as living with a disability, growing up in and leaving care and the impact of drugs and alcohol.

Lydia Fyall, Senior Fundraising Executive for Aberlour, said: “Strictly Come Prancing makes a significant contribution to Aberlour, enabling us to provide vital services for children in Aberdeen with autism and disabilities, such as Aberlour Options - Aberdeen, our respite home based in Bucksburn.”
