The march of the high-end national agency chains continues with news that Strutt & Parker has snapped up the two-office Buckinghamshire independent agency Roberts Newby.
The acquired agency’s offices are in Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Giles and have 22 staff, all of which will transfer to Strutt & Parker’s national agency business.
Roberts Newby is led by Simon Roberts, who will become an equity partner at Strutt & Parker, and has been active for 25 years. He operates both a sales and lettings platform for high value properties and has a new homes department specialising in the sale of new developments in Buckinghamshire commuter towns.
From September the Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Giles offices will be jointly branded as the two businesses come together.
Strutt & Parker has 38 residential estate agency teams throughout the UK and this acquisition represents the firm’s expansion into Buckinghamshire.
