The sun’s back - maybe - but the warm feeling of agents doing their bit for charity has never gone away.

If you want us to let people know of your good works, get in touch on press@estateagenttoday.co.uk and we’ll publicise your fund-raising.

In the meantime, this week’s update is here:

CoppaFeel: A team from Pinnacle Lettings and Let MC in Cardiff took part in the Welsh 4 Peaks Mountain Challenge. The plan was to climb the peaks of Snowdon, Tryfan, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan which have a combined height of 3,782 metres above sea level. The agents were joined by seven Cardiff University CoppaFeel Society students, as well as family and friends, to raise money for the charity which works to increase the early detection of breast cancer by educating young people.

The team braved miserable weather and aching limbs during their tiring 28 mile journey but were rewarded with some sunshine at the conclusion of their adventure.

The team benefited from a Rightmove Grant distributed via Agents Giving which helped with some of the costs associated with the challenge. So far £3,200 has been raised but more money is continuing to roll in.

Wyn Griffiths, Director at Pinnacle Letting Agents, who took part in the challenge comments: “Pinnacle has been working with CoppaFeel and students from Cardiff University on fundraising projects for three years. This was our biggest challenge yet but also the most rewarding and, at times, the most fun.”

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund: Northwood has so far raised nearly £30,000 for the fund. Here’s how you can give more: https://www.justgiving.com/company/Northwood

To date teams have climbed Kilimanjaro, run the marathon, faced the gladiator challenge, raced for life and now it’s another big one.

And Stephen Summerhayes (Norwich),  Andrew Chapman (Plymouth), Stuart Calvert (Southampton) and Danny Snelling (Norwich) are joining forces to become the Northwood peloton in the London to Paris cycle event.

In 2013, the firm tragically lost its managing director and close friend Nick Cooper, to pancreatic cancer and so decided to establish the Northwood Foundation in his memory.

Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice/Magic Moments: Here’s the latest update on the Matterhorn Challenge as it reaches the £20,000 milestone with a London to Brighton Cycle.

Convey Law Managing Director, Lloyd Davies, and Sales & Marketing Director, Rob Hosier, have joined 40 other cyclists from Spicerhaart Estate Agents in cycling from London to Brighton.

The Convey Law cyclists raised over £6,000 for the Magic Moments Charity, which sends terminally ill children and their families on a trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Paris. Overall the cycle raised over £53,000.00 for the Magic Moments charity.

Lloyd and Rob also raised the equivalent amount of £6,000 for the Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice and the conveyancing industry Matterhorn Challenge.
