Inaugural ESTAS Agent of the Month winner revealed

The ESTAS has announced the winner of the first ever Agent of the Month award.

Southend agent 1st Call Sales & Lettings picked up the award which was based on feedback from sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants.

Simon Brown, managing director of the ESTAS, says the award has been introduced to recognise the efforts of agents who strive to keep their clients happy all year round. 

“They’re all hoping to be shortlisted for the main ESTAS next April but we think it’s important that firms are given a pat on the back when they work hard to provide the best possible service to their client base,” he says. 

On picking up the award, Dan Chambers, director of 1st Call, comments: “It's fantastic and we are delighted to win this new award. We have always been very proud of the personal and fresh thinking service we provide and this is great way to demonstrate how that hard, honest work pays off." 

He says that his agency will build on this and hope to make the shortlist for the main awards next April.

The ESTAS take place every year and are presented by TV property expert Phil Spencer.  

This April a glittering ceremony took place in front of 800 guests at The Hilton, Park Lane. 

Big winners included Lynks Estate Agents, Stoneshaw Estates and Dale Eddison.
