Kudos Residential, a Norfolk sales and lettings agency, today becomes part of the Hunters empire, bringing the number of Hunters-branded franchise offices across the country to over 150.
Kudos is rebranding its seven branches across the county, including the main towns and cities of Norwich and Great Yarmouth. This is new territory for the Hunters network which last year alone grew by 37 new locations with the aim of expanding to over 500 offices by 2020.
Since it was founded in 2009 with one office in Brundall, Kudos Residential has grown to become one of Norfolk’s largest estate agents covering Norwich and the surrounding villages, across to the East Coast. The seven-strong network encompasses offices in Norwich, Hellesdon, Brundall, Poringland, Long Stratton, Great Yarmouth and Gorleston.
“It’s unusual to see a business of Hunters size, which is so service driven, and we wanted to partner with someone who had the same values as ourselves. The national network that Hunters offers is of huge benefit to our local offices – particularly the reach it has in London. A lot of our customers are moving from London cashing in and buying up at the Norfolk coast or Broads area” says Chris Starkings, director of Kudos Residential.

Are Hunters' the new Foxtons? They don't seem to be suffering the same backlash, though. Foxtons could learn a lesson from that.
