CDD Check Ltd. We help Estate Agents comply with AML regulations at a very cost effective rate.

What services do you offer and in what ways do you work with estate and letting agents?

We offer CDD/AML checks primarily to the Estate Agent sector.  They use us to check against PEP, s and Sanction Database and to monitor transactions. In simple terms we make sure they don’t get fines from the HMRC!!

What makes your product different and how does it benefit agents?

Cost!! We keep things simple.  We don’t believe in complicating the CDD cycle for estate agents any more than it needs to be. This is why we have over 1000 customers across using Europe using our services. Quick, Easy, Effective checks that don’t cost an arm and a leg!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is your greatest achievement in your current role and what made it so special?

Launching the UK side of the business. We are part of a larger group based in the Netherlands and it was a long and sometimes bumpy road in terms of development and deadlines.  The reception we have had in the UK market has been nothing short of spectacular.

What is the most satisfying part of your job?

Talking on a daily basis to Estate Agents that are not well informed on the HMRC AML guidelines and seeing their faces, or more often these days hearing their voices when they discover how easy and cost effective it is to comply.

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing estate and letting agents at the moment?

On the Estate Agents side its simply demand outweighing supply.  The frustration levels are massive and I feel for them.

What is your property prediction for the remainder of 2021

The extension on stamp duty until 30th June.  Extension of the furlough scheme until September and the mortgage guarantee scheme and the roll out of the vaccine leads me to believe that house prices will continue to rise throughout the remainder of 2021.
