Thanks to everyone for keeping our readers updated on what's happening in the world of estate agency charity fund-raising.

This week's updates are below and remember, if you're doing good work we want to hear about it. Please let us know on press@estateagenttoday.co.uk and we'll do our best to give you the honourable mention you deserve.

Here we go with out latest heroes...

Alzheimer's Society: OnBoard Pro, a provider of cloud based residential tenancy software to letting agents and landlords, has selected the Alzheimer's Society as its chosen charity for 2015.

Employees of OnBoard Pro will come together during the year to raise a minimum of £2,000 for the charity by taking part in a variety of fundraising events including a Memory Walk as well as additional running, swimming and baking events organised by the firm's staff.

The company's efforts will be supported by property professionals' charity Agents Giving, which will donate 10% of the final fundraising total at the end of the year.

"There's a desire within the company to raise money for a charity, we asked for nominations and members of staff voted for their winner. Alzheimer's Society was chosen because many of the team know how devastating Alzheimer's can be, not just to the person suffering with dementia, but to the whole family around them says Stephen Purvis, chief executive officer of OnBoard Pro.

St Lukes Hospice: Leading Stanmore independent estate agents Stones Residential celebrated their 15th anniversary with an Open Weekend at their offices, and with the presentation of a cheque for £2,000 to its charity of the year.

St. Lukes Hospice , serving London boroughs Harrow and Brent, was chosen as the firm's charity as it also serves the local community in caring for people whose illnesses are no longer curable and enabling them to achieve the best quality of life. A few members of the Stones Residential team have had first-hand experience of receiving the exceptional support from the hospice in the past.

Stones Residential is a family-run independent property specialist which allows us the freedom to provide a hundred-percent client driven service. Big enough to cope and small enough to care' is our ethos which has been at the heart of our success over the past 15 years, says Claire Stone, director.

Christopher's Smile: Following on from several successful projects in 2014, staff from Waterfords estate agents are once again giving up their time to help in the local community by donating up to 340 hours of their time.

Over Easter the teams helped Christopher's Smile, a charity based in Lightwater, raise £1,064.82 fundraising at Waitrose in Frimley. They also spent a whole day gardening to improve the grounds at Abbey School in Farnham.

The charity is funding the development of new targeted drugs to treat childhood cancers without the devastating side effects that charity organisers Karen and Kevin Capel witnessed during their fight to save their five year old son from a fatal brain tumour. Karen says: We rely heavily on volunteers so were extremely grateful to have been approached by Waterfords. The team really made a huge difference to what we were able to achieve and we are delighted to have raised such a fantastic total.

Meanwhile, the second team headed off to Abbey School in Farnham, a school for children with special educational needs. They removed leaves, tidied borders, planted new flowers, cut back trees and shrubs and repaired broken fencing.

Agents Giving: After raising thousands of pounds at last year's inaugural event, Agents Giving has announced its second Agents Giving Day on Friday June 19.

Whether you would like to volunteer at your local hospice, orchestrate a baking extravaganza, or brave a sponsored bike ride, the aim is for estate agents, letting agents and suppliers to concentrate their efforts across the day and work within the local community to raise money for Agents Givings' supported charities.

Agents Giving can help organise your event through the Rightmove Fund - to contribute to set up costs - as well as providing a fundraising pack and support with promoting your event. All money goes to Agents Giving's supported charities including St Mungo's Broadway, Macmillan and the British Heart Foundation.

Agents get a lot of stick and it often seems that a few bad eggs taint the entire profession. In fact, I am constantly surprised by how community minded estate agents are and the creative, and often physically and mentally challenging, fundraising events I hear about says Agents Giving chairman Peter Knight.

If you've always fancied doing something charitable, or are a long-standing Agents Giving supporter, get involved and sign up to have fun while helping to boost the reputation of estate agency in your area.

To find out more about Agents Giving Day and how to participate in this year's event please contact the fundraising team at info@agentsgiving.org.
