Christmas is under a fortnight away and estate and letting agents are in full swing with good deeds.

We have had a tremendous response to Agents Do Charity over the past six months but now we'd like to extend the idea by asking you to submit emails outlining what your agency is doing, or by making your own video which we would run here on the Agents Do Charity section on Friday.

If you want to be mentioned, please let us know on press@estateagenttoday.co.uk.

In the meantime, here are this week's updates.

Ashford Place/The Winch: Book your free tickets to meet Santa (and donate to charity) at Paramount estate and letting agency in West Hampstead this Christmas. He's in the office on December 16, 17 and 18 - so book at santa@paramount-properties.co.uk.

Ashford Place (originally known as Cricklewood Homeless Concern) was started in 1983 by a group of local residents. They wanted to do something to help homeless people in the area and in 1983 they opened a soup kitchen for those in need. In 2008 they moved into an all-new building which was a purpose built resource centre. This reflected changes in their service offering, and in 2013 the change was cemented when Cricklewood Housing Concern changed their name to Ashford Place.

The Winch was created in Swiss Cottage in 1973, by a group of young people with nowhere to go and nothing to do - a radical venture that grew into a grassroots organisation', in the words of The Winch. Today their mission is to inspire, challenge and affirm children and young people in building relationships, enriching the community and fulfilling their potential. They currently offer services to those between the ages of four and 25 as part of the North Camden Promise Zone, a cradle to career pipeline of support.

CCLASP: A group of Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre staff members, including CEO Paul Hilton, ran 20 kilometres around Edinburgh visiting its member firms to raise funds for a children's cancer charity celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The trio's fun run marks the latest event of ESPC's 2014 support for the Give Us 20 campaign. The fundraising drive marks the 20th year of children's charity CCLASP (Children with Cancer & Leukaemia Advice & Support for Parents).

ESPC continued to ramp up their fundraising following the successful 20 hour long hop-a-thon last month which has so far raised over £3,000.

Valerie Simpson founded the organisation with her husband Bill. She said: We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part in the run, including those who joined in for a portion of the route. We've been humbled by the level of support which ESPC, their member firms and the public have given us over the course of the Give Us 20 campaign.

Macmillan Cancer Support: Leaders has raised more than £30,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support during 2014. The firm was delighted to exceed its target of £25,000, raising a total of £31,200 to help ensure that no one faces cancer alone in the UK.

Over the year, staff from Leaders' 85 branches across the UK have run, cycled, baked, dressed up, been ice-bucketed, gone sober and more to raise money for their charity partner Macmillan. The firm also auctioned off a special selection of children's artwork as part of its annual drawing competition and organised more than 60 coffee mornings across the country as part of Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

Leaders' managing director, Paul Weller, said: We are delighted to have raised this sum of money for such an excellent charity. The work Macmillan does in supporting people living with cancer and their families is remarkable. There are approximately two million people living with cancer in the UK today but this is set to double to four million by 2030. Macmillan is a real lifeline for anyone affected by cancer and many of our staff and clients have benefitted from their support or know someone who has. Thank you to all our staff for their enthusiasm and hard work.
