The Saxon Kings agency in Kingston has paid tribute to its founder who died in an accident on honeymoon last week and has thanked clients and the public for their support.

The staff issued a statement saying: It is with huge regret that Saxon Kings has to announce that their founding partner, Jeremy Hope, has died suddenly. The entire team at Saxon Kings have greatly appreciated the many messages of support at this difficult time.

Saxon Kings values every client and are doing everything to ensure that the business Jeremy did so much to build up will continue to offer the excellent service which it is so well known for in the area.

As Estate Agent Today reported earlier this week, Jeremy Hope died in a freak ski-jet accident off the coast of the Greek island of Santorini, just two days after marrying his girlfriend Sarah Greaves - a partner in Saxon Kings and herself another agent.

Saxon Kings began as an online agency in 2006 but opened premises in Kingston in 2012.

Hope is reported to have been in collision with a male friend when they were using jet skis. At first Hope appeared unhurt but he then complained of feeling unwell and an air ambulance was called. He died in the aircraft on his way to hospital - it turned out that he had severe internal bleeding.

His friend and the owner of the jet ski rental company have been arrested but released, pending the conclusion of investigations into the accident by the Greek Hellenic Coastguard authorities.
