Zoopla listings to go on eBay and Gumtree...

Property portal Zoopla has partnered with two of the UK’s largest websites, eBay and Gumtree, to provide wider distribution of its agent members’ listings.

Zoopla will now exclusively power new ‘agent listing’ channels on both the eBay and Gumtree websites.

In the case of eBay, all new sales and lettings listings will be shown, whilst on Gumtree, only sales listings will appear.

There will be no additional charge to agents.

Both new partnerships are in the process of being launched, with listings being added to the partner sites progressively over the next few weeks.

Very good point Tim!!

I must say I have seen a RIDICULOUS amount of Gumtree advertising over the past few weeks. They have been on the front page of the Metro at least 4 or 5 times!

And they have a new site...

Its already VERY POPULAR...So this may be a very smart move by Zoopla...moving forward...if Gumtree sales goes the way Lettings is...who knows...

Also, Zoopla sign up a lot of agents by Name dropping partners...

MSN, Yahoo, TalkTalk, Sky, Virgin Media, UpMyStreet and Guardian...Propertyfinder etc etc etc

Now Gumtree and eBay...

Just stick with rightmove, they are the biggest for a reason.

From my use of gumtree, it bought back 80% of spam and fraud, (can i have your bank account details etc) and the rest where clients looking for lettings only, sales on gumtree is non existent unless its deposit paid or a deal...

I'm sure that the owner of a £1m pad will be pleased that his agent has put his house on Ebay.

Coverage, yes. Good coverage, ??. Hope there is an opt out facility.
