It’s the latest thing, apparently: browsing in bed.
For those who specifically want to know the detail, it’s people browsing for properties on their mobiles in bed on a Sunday morning.
Primelocation has leapt to this somewhat risqué conclusion after discovering that its mobile traffic peaks on a Sunday morning between 8am and 9am.
The upmarket site says that 11% of its overall traffic now comes via mobiles: 79% from iPhones, 9% from BlackBerries and 11% from androids.
Primelocation has now launched an android app in addition to its dedicated mobile site.
Sheraz Dar, marketing director for Digital Property Group which publishes Primelocation, said: “Weekend visits via mobiles account for 15% of our traffic.
“The peak visiting time on a Sunday is 8-9am as browsing in bed increasingly becomes a trend.”
Well, it sure beats spotting a For Sale board on your way to church.

Parents? I though the only ones awake early on Sunday morning were the sad and the self-employed.
Can I assure you that working all Saturday night gets in the way of being "hard" in any sense of the word on a Sunday morning.
Of all the comments ever posted on this site, that has got to be the most stupid I have ever read..
I can assure you that working nights defiintely does not make you sound hard, it makes you sound like you stack shelves at Tesco.
Having seen some of the kids TV programmes nowadays, I am wondering if the people who make them spend most of their time high! Into The Night Garden? What do you have to be smoking for THAT to make sense?
I agree with you there Sibley's, I can think of much better things to be doing in bed at that time on a Sunday. Sleeping for one thing!
I used to work 10pm Saturday till 7am Sunday morning. I was awake at 8 on a Sunday morning.
I always tell people I used to work nights cause it makes me sound hard.
Ain't that the truth Nick, parenthood introduces you to a whole new world of TV scheduling...
Back to the article, who in the right mind would be browsing for property early doors Sunday morning?
ah, something to look forward to....not.
Yes, some people are awake - they're called parents!
Sunday daydreaming starts early in the morning for me. I usually get up with a hangover and being not quite sober I strongly believe that I'll hit the Jackpot next week and start browsing for expensive cars and properties. Daydreaming and window-shopping are the best remedies for hangover.
Sundays are great! I sober up on Monday morning and go to the Job Centre.
PS. I browse Rightmove - great fun!
There are people actually AWAKE at 8am on a Sunday??
