Sneak preview of Rightmove's new advert

There is absolutely nothing on telly worth watching this Christmas, so we might as well look forward to the new Rightmove advert.

Here is a sneak preview of what will be Rightmove’s tenth annual TV advert, which is screened for the first time on Boxing Day.

Voiced by national treasure Joanna Lumley, the new campaign targets home sellers not buyers and is set amidst the wildlife of Serengeti in sunny South Africa.

The advert features no wildlife, but more agents than you could shake a stick at, who appear to  know every inch of the terrain.

Miles Shipside, commercial director of Rightmove, said: “With the current shortage of sellers, we are urging those contemplating selling to discuss their potential move with those best placed to give the right advice – their local knowledgeable estate agent.

“We are hoping this will help bring stock-starved estate agents and possible sellers together, generating new instruction opportunities.”

The advert, shot outside the town of Wolmar Ansstad in South Africa, cost several million pounds.

    Come on Ray where are yours? How much support does PropertyLive get from NFOPP members? Propertylive boasts a single property in Sheringham compared to 119 from Rightmove. Surely Ray isn't the only NAEA member covering Sheringham and surely Ray has got more than one property on his books. Is the problem with Propertylive or the NFOPP agents uploading to Propertylive. Repeat the comparison for your own area and see why the public turn to Rightmove first.
