Shoosmith named agents' favourite for conveyancing |
Wednesday 9th March 2011
Access Legal from Shoosmiths has been named by estate agents as the best provider of home purchase and sale conveyancing services.
The national law firm came top in a survey conducted by conveyancing distributor Conveyancing Alliance.
It surveyed all its users – mortgage advisers and estate agents – on service levels received from the eleven law firms on its panel.
Users ranked law firms on service standards including communication levels, speed of delivery and client feedback.
Access Legal from Shoosmiths was awarded the top spot by estate agents in England and Wales questioned in the survey.
Conveyancing Alliance managing director Harpal Singh said: “Service levels and service standards are vitally important to us, which is why we undertook this survey among all our users. We were pleased to find positive ratings for all our solicitor partners.
“There was a particularly strong showing from Shoosmiths amongst our estate agent users.”

| | I totally agree with the majority of past comments regarding shoosmiths. They are currently our solicitors for a sale and two purchases and due to their lack of communication and bad customer service we have fallen way behind with one of our purchases meaning we might lose our buyer! They dont return calls! They dont reply to emails and if they do reply they dont answer the question asked! The case handler we were allocated sounds like he's drugged up when we speak to him and oh that's when he's in the office which is hardly ever! If we ever decide to move house again I would never ever consider using them again and I would not recommend them either! Not even to my worse enemy!! |
| | Guess who is the main advertiser on this showers web site??? They really think we are a thick bunch don't they! |
| | Keep calm guys, its just another “award” from “No bodies” to get free PR. Anyone ever heard of the Conveyancing Alliance? PR. |
| | mmm i must agree with these comments .......just a corporate call centre battery farm!! |
| | Intresting, I cant think of a good word to say about them. Going back a bit now they were on countrywides panel for lease hold. I hated every minuite of it. |
| | If Shoosmiths were voted the agents favourite out of a panel of eleven I dread to think how awful the other firms are! The estate agents here can’t stand Shoosmiths as they are slow, have no communication skills and no care for the customers. |
