Rightmove TV campaign to run during Downton Abbey |
Monday 5th September 2011
Rightmove is to bring back its TV advertising campaign launched in April, to feature in ad breaks during top-rating Downton Abbey.
The campaign will also include two new adverts showcasing some of the additional ways that the British public use Rightmove, including the Draw-a-Search tool and mobile products.
Rightmove director Miles Shipside said: “Our ‘Britain Moves at Rightmove’ campaign has already contributed to record traffic levels on Rightmove this year, and we are confident that this latest round of advertising will further raise the profile of Rightmove agents during the key autumn market.”
The new series of Rightmove adverts will play out for over a month and will launch on September 7. The advert run will also include spot times in Champions League Football and Big Brother.

Two words: Sky Plus.
With this and similar options available to watch TV, less and less people are watching adverts. X Factor is the current 'big one' and of all popular shows, the adverts shown during this are probably viewed the least. Christmas time is best (like RM already do), as people want to see what offers are on, the Xmas ads and of course the Coca Cola trucks. |
| | Yes Chris Peacock, that is excellent news, Digital Property Group can be the market leader and then they can charge extortionate fees as well. |
| | For the first month ever we have had more leads from DPG than from rightmove. I really hope this is the start of things to come!!! I HATE THE WAY RIGHTMOVE TREAT US!!!!! |
| | I love Rightmove, especially with the propertybee add on. Most informative. |
