Hamptons International is expanding its branch network across the south of England, with new offices in Bath, Farnham, Oxford, Gerrards Cross, Marlow and Muswell Hill.
New staff are being recruited for all the new branches, and the firm said it is reviewing “a number of opportunities for further expansion” this year and next.
The new offices include the acquisition in Gerrards Cross of what was the office of Gascoigne Pees.
Marc Goldberg, head of sales, said: “We are reviewing a number of options for expansion this year in order to maximise market potential. With the lettings market surging across the country, our immediate priority has been to meet a demand for a lettings presence in certain areas across our network.
“The sales market is also performing extremely strongly in our sector of the market and we are looking to capitalise on this in strategic locations. We intend to grow up and out from our existing network to create a stronghold across the south of England.”

A bit naughty as press releases go but you can imagine being this Marc Goldberg chap, he’s got a lovely brand and he’s trying not to say that they are just rebranding some other Countrywide offices……..poor sod, I bet he cant even say Mann & Co without setting off his gag reflex.
Good for him for at least trying to separate himself though. One other thing – my Parents live near Farnham and im pretty sure they have been there since god was a boy

So
Countrywide buy Hamptons.
Start closing down Mann & Co.s and other cheaply branded offices in favour of GPees or equivalents.
Then expands high end brand name.
