Here is a completely free invitation to just one of our EAT readers.

EAT has an invitation to a day out, including lunch, just outside Cambridge on May 10.

Billed as a day of inspiration and innovation, it’s being held by the software company Jupix and the programme includes plenty of networking, a presentation by estate agency trainer Julian O’Dell on best practice plus a chance to meet the Radar Homes group: they’re the ones in the south-west who have set up their own property portal and are keen to meet with agents in the east of England to see if something similar could be set up there.

So, if Peebee, Wardy, Jonnie, Country Lass or indeed anyone would like to go along, all you have to do is email: robert@jupix.co.uk

To clarify this story was for 1 non Jupix user and was nothing to do with the 15 available for Jupix users. Ros Renshaw had to give up her place because she has a bad shoulder.

We had an independant of Jupix vistor courtesy of this story (Thank you EAT) Hopefully she will be happy to send Ros an un-biased report of the day.

Quiz Time the answer is none it was Will Hicks ..... I would have nominated him to go on behalf of everyone but then he's not an estate agents so wouldn't understand how things work.

Well, presumably people who are reading this thread are the audience?

You did notice the reference to HPC I presume?

    Can I ask the audience?

    Quiz Time!

Why has people's understanding of sarcasm and irony in this country diminished?

    Discuss.

Robert you said there was only 1 place then someone should have told the official Jupix tweeter today who said

"There are 15 spaces available for the Innovation & Inspiration Day. Please contact our Head Office to book your place. http://bit.ly/euSWjs"

Person one says in response: I dont want to go, I am not interested!

Everyone thinks: Why the .... would you comment then?

    QUESTION TIME ;

Is person one 5 years old, 10 years old or a bit daft?

That is so typical of Robert. Who else dreams up ways like to catch the competition off guard! Genius!
Sorrycantmakeit, you must have posted before you had time to think how smart this really is. No-one really wants the time out of the office to look at stuff they can easily get properly demonstrated in their own office by filling in an online enquiry form or making a phone call.
Last year's PPS in Brum was a dead loss even without the expense or aggro of getting to Olympia. Pushy demos by blokes who stink of booze from the yay, away from the wife night out? Nice and soooo professional.
The good thing about those shows is how much the reps will haggle off the price just to close a deal on the day. Get your credit card out and they start drooling like Alpine Mastiffs.
If you are tempted by a "show special" ask how long the wait is for training, we got quoted 13 weeks last year. Madness!

Erm... thanks for thinking about me - but first and foremost the event is for Agents and as Robert clarifies, someone who will be able to take something away with them.

Etiquette note - CL should have been named first, surely? Laydees before blokes and all that...

Stuff all yer equality nonsense. It would be my pleasure to hold doors open for Country Lass, Anna Key et al - not to mention our wonderful Site Editor, Lady Rosalind of Renshaw ;o)

Actually Rant knowing who is going you would get a warm, polite and dignified welcome.

@Sorrycantmakeit, I agree it is a stupid idea to compete with the PPS so what we have done is decide to show our users the new additional features and functionality of our Multiple Office, Web based combined Estate Agency and Property Management system in a relaxed and unhurried environment. Our Inspiration and Innovation day is invitation only other than this 1 place. It is being put on for our customers who are quite happy with our software and have no real need to attend PPS. This is only available because Ros can’t attend, ordinarily you nor any other non Jupix reader of EAT would have known about our event.
We have no need to attend PPS to attract new business, our “customers matter” approach to the business means that all the sales we need are coming from referral and recommendation.
Anyone attending our Inspiration and Innovation day will be encouraged to visit PPS on the second day simply to reinforce that features and benefits available in Jupix are well ahead of anything on offer at PPS.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm not really interested in going. My presence would likely result in the riot police being needed or something. Cambridge isn't my neck of the woods either.

    Hello Rant

As it says in the headline, the invitation is open to any EAT reader. If you would like to come and would benefit from seeing what the next generation of Agency is all about then email me.
There is only 1 late place available due to a fractured shoulder and I would prefer that place to go to someone who will get some use out of the day, also I doubt any of the HPC posters would want to spend the day with us.

    Regards

    Robert

Am going to PROPERTY PROFESSIONAL SHOW Show in London.

What a stupid idea to try and compete with the largest property show of the year ..........

I notice the list of regular EAT contributors that might want to go doesn't include those imported from HPC ; )
