Digital rolls out 'Pro' version of market intelligence tool |
Wednesday 2nd November 2011
Digital Property Group has launched a ‘Pro’ version of its market intelligence software, aimed at helping its website subscribers to win instructions.
MarketView Pro provides a single picture of movements within an agent’s local market, helping them take advantage of opportunities ahead of their competition.
Pro subscribers receive updates every 24 hours on information such as sales or lettings which have fallen through, price drops, slow moving and withdrawn properties.
This aggregated information is taken from daily market changes from the 12,600 agents listing close to one million properties on FindaProperty and PrimeLocation.
The national roll-out of MarketView Pro follows a more limited launch. Andrews, Marsh & Parsons and Bushells are among the agents which have signed up for MarketView Pro since July.
Subscription begins at £49 per month. The standard version of MarketView remains free to DPG subscribers.

| | @ Chris ...totally agree with you DPG are walking a tightrope clutching at income streams trying to get their product up to speed for the ZOOPLA merger i think its suicidal. pull off them whilst the goings good we have sent our notice to them today. |
| |
IMPORTANT FACT
DPG are very short sited in the damage they are going to make to the industry. This service (your data) is being sold to online agents who will be contacting your customers selling their service for £50-400. I would advise that you make sure that your data is not included or remove your listings from them or you will find that your average fee will drop sharpely with this support for poor and online agents. |
| | really Chris? Marketview is a touting tool designed to help agents steal instructions from competing agents - it seems very different than the rest to me |
| |
Well, it seems to be no different from Vizzihome / Rightmove Plus.
Hometrack produces a much better printed result, but any real market facts are dangerous to put in front of a vendor. Still the very best material to take on a valuation is your last 5 agreed sales... |
| | Sequence use, Sequence MI Vizzihome, information usually out of date and in-accurate, good estate agents do not need this only ones desperate for instructions and unable to compete any other way......... the word Leechs springs to mind. Whatever next...... |
| |
Agreed Trevor, selling their own customers down the river to their own customers.
You could be the victim and the villain both at the same time. |
| | Ouch. so a sale falls through and whilst trying to remarket they let all your competition know. Sounds like digital are the ones who'll be making the money. |
| | its just another vizzihome......not really new at all great for the touting corporates :-) |
