United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty, the luxury division of Countrywide, has opened at Canford Cliffs near Poole, Dorset.

The office handles residential sales, land acquisition and new homes covering a wide-ranging geographical patch which focuses on Poole and millionaires' playground Sandbanks, and stretches along the south coast from the New Forest to Weymouth and north to Hampshire.

Glynn Evans heads up the new office, joining from Savills.

The area has some of the highest land values and property prices anywhere in the world, and has some well-established agents. Geoff Boycott is currently trying to sell a property at Sandbanks, while another high-profile resident is Spurs manager Harry Redknapp.

Pictured are a couple of the properties being marketed by Sotheby’s: Emporio (all lit up at night) and Thunderbird.

The Canford Cliffs opening is the latest in a push by the Countrywide brand to establish Sotheby’s Realty in several affluent locations.
