City property portal gears up for national growth

A property portal with a genuine difference has launched.

Concentrating purely on the city centre apartment market, both sales and rentals, Luvthecity claims to have professionally photographed every apartment block in Britain and rated each one out of ten. It also gives local information as to the nearest pubs, barbers and taxis.

Free to estate agents and also private sellers, the service means that agents do not even have to take their own photographs of the apartment blocks. Mapping is also already in place.

Adverts – each property has its own page – can be placed on the site for 30 days, after which they are automatically removed.

The site has launched in Manchester, where it has already signed up 13 agents. In November, it will launch in Leeds.

Next year, its ambitious itinerary means it will launch in a host of other locations, including Cardiff, Newcastle, Plymouth, London Docklands, Sheffield and Bradford.

The site, spearheaded by Julian Bovis, has a clean and modern design and is totally unlike other property portals.
