A 200-year-old law firm which is aiming to become the UK’s largest conveyancer within three years has expanded.

Beaumont Legal based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, has appointed three new directors and increased its staff to over 100.

The firm says it will employ further solicitors, legal assistants and legal secretaries over the coming months. Total staff numbers have already more than doubled since the start of the year.

With an annual turnover now more than £4m, Beaumont Legal announced earlier this year that its target was to grow the conveyancing side of its business to become the largest volume provider in the UK within the next three years.

Things must be good for conveyancers up in Yorkshire. Can we send them some from Essex? You can't walk down Duke St without being accosted by one scratching for business.
