Auction House to hold first sale in a cinema

Monday 13th February 2012

Auction House is to premiere its first auction of the year in a north London cinema.

The organisation has chosen the Everyman Cinema in Belsize Park as the venue for its February 22 sale.

Auctioneer Andrew Binstock said: “To mark the UK’s first property auction in a cinema, there will be popcorn available, and I shall be swapping my gavel for a clapperboard.”

I've waited all week; it's Friday - and everyone seems tetchy - AS IS NOW THE NORM!

Apparently their next auction will be in a bingo hall.

"EYES DOWN - FIRST HOUSE!"

Sorry - had to be done... ;o)
