Vebra agreesto allow Globrix access
Monday 10th November 2008Leading estate agency software provider Vebra has lifted its block on the Globrix ‘crawler’ after agreeing terms on Friday.
The block meant that Globrix agents no longer had their properties automatically uploaded to the property search engine. According to Globrix, it meant that over 100,000 propertes were removed from the free listings site, leaving many agents disappointed.
However, on Friday, a statement was issued: “Vebra and Globrix have today agreed terms to facilitate the upload of property and agent data from Vebra.com to Globrix.com to allow agents to receive free traffic from the Portal. Vebra customers will be able to authorise the upload of their data to Globrix at no additional cost to them.
“The agreement now in place will put the agent back in control of their own data and provide an additional distribution channel to increase their online presence.”
Globrix has also announced a new partnership with another agency software provider, DezRez, which is now providing a direct datafeed to Globrix.
All DezRez agents who are part of the feed will get real time updates to Globrix, so if you change a property description or correct an error on the listing on your own site, Globrix will be updated automatically.
