Agents busy recruiting again
Friday 12th June 2009Headcounts are finally on the rise in estate agencies in London and the south-east.
Badger Holdings, parent company of Townends & Regents estate agents, plus dot financial services and Tyser Greenwood Surveyors, said it has taken on 50 new employees this year, taking it closer to staffing levels of two years ago.
Catherine Darbon, group recruitment manager, said: “We are currently running adverts for all brands under the group umbrella, which are proving to be very successful.”
She said that Badger is one of the very few companies currently recruiting surveyors.
She added: “With new branches and departments opening as this year progresses, we are hoping to increase our overall headcount further within the next few weeks. After a challenging couple of years, it is fantastic to be recruiting again.”
London agents known to be recruiting include Marsh & Parsons, whilst software firm ExpertAgent recently reported a rise in the number of users per branch.
