Zoopla has claimed that traffic to its site rose by 25% in July, to reach 1.35m visits.

Unique users and page views were also both up by a record 24% with 922,000 users and 10.7 million page views in July.

With the imminent integration of ThinkProperty following its recent acquisition by Zoopla, these figures look set to grow further, said chief executive Alex Chesterman.

He said: “We continue to lead the market in terms of growth rate. Since our launch last year, we have consistently increased our market share month on month to challenge some of the longer-standing players in the market.”

Zoopla is also in the final stages of hammering out a deal to acquire the loss-making Propertyfinder portal.
