High-end agency Savills has extended its global empire with two new associations in the Middle East.

One of the associations is in the Northern Gulf, where two offices are to be branded Savills Qatar and Savills Bahrain; the company's activities will cover Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan. It will be led by Don Bradley, an agent who has over 30 years of experience in the region.

Meanwhile in Dubai, one of the United Arab Emirates, Savills has formed an association with Core Real Estate, which in addition to residential sales also handles commercial properties, consultancy and market research.

Although Savills' profile within the UK industry is successful - in 2013 it sold over 3,500 new homes, traded £1.7 billion of residential assets, saw double-digit growth in its lettings and property management divisions, and broke price per square foot sales records - the firm is increasingly turning itself towards international activities.

It has a 25,000 workforce in 500 branded and associate offices, co-ordinated by 800 staff in its Margaret Street headquarters in central London.
