Adventure Ashram: Michael Hobbs, head of Italian fractional property company, Appassionata, and friends are riding 2,160 kilometres across India on motorbikes in the hope or raising £10,000 for this charity that rescues children from human trafficking.

The rally - involving 254 riders in all, using Royal Enfield Bullet bikes - runs from Mysore, Karnataka, through Tamil Nadu and into Kerala in the far south west of India. Along the route, participants will see projects supported by Adventure Ashram. ivery.

It is hoped that in total there will be 25 riders plus a support team taking part in the epic adventure.

Cancer Research: On Sunday five members of the CJ Hole team in Bristol say they are taking things to the next level - geddit - by throwing themselves out of a plane at 15,000 feet to raise money for this charity.

The firm's aim is to raise £2,000 in total and the emphasis is on no donation being too small to help. You can contribute via www.justgiving.com/cjholebishopston or by popping into one of the firm's offices.

Estuary League of Friends: This charity at Topsham in Devon organises lunch clubs, day centres, group and personal outings, car transport to and from medical appointments for those who are less mobile, and large numbers of customised services for those at home.

Now Devon agency Wilkinson Grant is one of the sponsors of Estuary League of Friends' annual swim from Topsham to the Turf Inn - a 1.1 mile swim across the beautiful Exe estuary.

Haven Breast Cancer Support Centre: Savills has launched the Draw Your Perfect Home competition in a bid to raise funds and awareness for the centre.

The charity launched a £2.5m fundraising appeal in April 2013 to open a new centre in Titchfield and so far over £1m has been raised. Entry forms can be collected from the Savills office at Jewry Street or they can be downloaded by visiting savills.co.uk/Winchester.

Paramount Properties: To celebrate 25 years of existence, Paramount is donating £250 to 10 charities.

We wanted to help small charities reach their milestones as we celebrated an achievement of our own. Local residents were asked to nominate charities that were important to them and we're pleased to announce that the following 10 charities will each receive £250 says a spokeswoman.

They are Run Rio Run!, Ashford Place, CareTrade Charitable Trust, Elders Voice, Coppa Feel!, Remembering Not to Forget, Child's i Foundation, The Mayhew Animal Home, The Restart Project and The Winchester Project.
